John Bartkowiak     

     John B. Bartkowiak, Jr. was born and raised in the Canton section of Baltimore, Maryland and attended Mount Saint Joseph High School. His work experience prior to completing his formal education includes tenures as both a steelworker and a stevedore. In 2004 he concluded a 36 year career with Northrop Grumman Corporation in Baltimore, Maryland.

     Highlights during John's career with Northrop Grumman include:

  • Structuring and negotiating numerous U.S. Government and international contracts, including nearly 50 international trips (primarily to Europe and the Far East)
  • Monitoring federal and international acquisition regulations, drafting policy and counseling management regarding same
  • Administering a world network of subsidiary entities
  • Directing numerous economic and training grants with the State of Maryland and local governments
  • Holding a Secret Clearance during that period.  

For the past 20 years John has acted as pro-bono counsel to many of the Vietnam Veterans organizations in Maryland, as well as, other non-profit corporations and their individual members, advising them on a broad array of business, personal and fundraising matters.

Since 2004, John has been in the private practice of law in Towson, Maryland.
